This tour is about knowing the most representative areas of this beautiful Destination located in the southwestern area of the Mexican Pacific which is known as Puerto Vallarta.
It begins in the area of Marina Vallarta going towards downtown where our expert guides will be providing us the most important information about the places, sculptures and most known attractions of this friendly city.
Once we get to the lighthouse located at the beginning part of the Malecon (boardwalk), we will be taking a relaxing walk visiting the most representative icons of the area, where we will be receiving a fascinating explanation about the history of this amazing town and all the facts regarding the foundation of this incredible place, as well as the most important dates and sightseeing of this paradisiac destination including the monument of Ignacio Luis Vallarta, who is the founder of this beautiful Mexican paradise that we know today as Puerto Vallarta, which received its name in honor of the surname of its founder. Also, we will pass through the city hall (Presidencia Municipal) of the city, as well as the church of Guadalupe, also known as the Church of the Crown due to the Big Crown set up on the top of its construction.
After that, we will be going to old Vallarta, passing by the Cuale river to take a look about some species of the most representative flora and fauna of this region until our next stop that will be one of the best silversmiths in the town called “Avilés” in case you decide to get one of the most beautiful pieces that you have been able to appreciate in your life, since most of them are carved in the purest silver of our country, at the same time you will have the opportunity to know one of the most emblematic and fascinating stones of our Country, which is a precious Stone known as opal of fire. There, you will be able to know everything related about its origin and how a perfect carving is done to give it the shape, the design and the color of its final result.
Then we will be going to the south of the Bay, passing through the residential area known as Conchas Chinas where you will be able to admire some exclusive areas and different types of constructions with unique styles, as well as its beaches and the incredible vegetation surrounding them.
Later on, we will be making a brief stop at one of the best viewpoints of town where you will be amazed with the majestic panoramic view of the entire Bay, which is the 3rd largest
in the entire American Continent and is known as Bahía de Banderas, where we will be taking around 10 minutes for you to take some pictures of this beautiful view if you wish.
Once we get back to the bus, we will continue our journey up to the Mismaloya area and its surroundings going towards the restaurant “Las Cascadas” where we will be having lunch. This restaurant specializes mainly in seafood-based dishes and is located on the shore of the river known as “Río Los Horcones”, which is one of those with the greatest water Flow in the whole Bay.
When finished eating, we can enjoy the most exquisite handmade tequila made in this area by the Tequila factory known as “El Bastón del Rey”, where we can delight our palate with the variety of flavors of the different tequilas made 100% with Blue Agave and in its various forms: White Tequila, Reposado, Añejo as well as some different liquors such as the coffee liquor, mandarin liquor, almond liquor and the well-known Rompope (eggnog)! … which has also proved to be a true delight!
